ΒιΆΉΣ³»β€™s School of Business has launched an updated 30-credit Master of Business Administration program, giving students a faster, more affordable path to an AACSB-accredited MBA while integrating artificial intelligence across the curriculum.

The updated MBA is designed for working professionals, recent graduates and career changers seeking a flexible, high-quality graduate business degree built for today’s business environment. Students can pursue the program online, on campus or in a hybrid format, with the ability to move between formats as their needs change.

β€œThe streamlined 30-credit format, combined with online, on-campus and hybrid options, provides greater flexibility and access while maintaining the quality of our AACSB-accredited program,” said Dr. Matrecia James, dean of the School of Business. β€œStudents can also customize their MBA through Business Analytics, Finance or Marketing, allowing them to build the knowledge and skills most relevant to their professional goals.”

The program combines practical business coursework with values-based leadership rooted in ΒιΆΉΣ³»β€™s Franciscan tradition. Students learn from faculty who bring strong academic credentials, professional experience and hands-on industry insight into the classroom. The university is among only 5% of the world’s business schools accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

β€œThe core curriculum gives students a strong foundation across the essential functions of business while integrating artificial intelligence throughout the program,” said Mary Coombs, assistant dean and MBA program director. β€œStudents learn not only how AI is changing individual areas of business, but also how to apply AI alongside analytical thinking, strategic decision-making, and professional judgment. In each core course, students complete a significant discipline-specific assignment connected to real-world business challenges.”

This approach, said Coombs, prepares ΒιΆΉΣ³» students to understand the connections across business functions and to use emerging technologies effectively and responsibly in today’s workplace.

MBA students can tailor their degree through three optional concentrations. Main-campus students also have access to specialized options including the MBA–Professional Accountancy and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) concentration.

Students also benefit from a collaborative MBA community connecting them with faculty, alumni and industry partners, with opportunities to expand global business perspectives through international travel experiences.

The result is a shorter, more focused MBA that keeps ΒιΆΉΣ³»β€™s academic quality at the center while making the degree more accessible, flexible and relevant to the future of business.
