Student Opportunity and Access Resource Program and
Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program are comprehensive programs that contribute resources and a support system for students in academic and financial need.
These special programs are designed for students who have the potential for and interest in furthering their education, but who have special academic and financial needs.
Students enrolled in HEOP receive personalized support designed to help them succeed from their first semester through graduation. In addition to financial assistance for eligible students, the program provides academic advising, tutoring, mentoring, workshops, and access to campus resources that promote both academic achievement and personal growth.
BRIGHT Project
Â鶹ӳ»'s
BRIGHT Project builds on the school’s mission to address community health needs through innovative, interdisciplinary education.
The program will support 77 graduate students — 42 in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) and 35 in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) — as they prepare to serve children, adolescents, and young adults at risk for mental health and behavioral disorders.
Each student will receive a $25,000 stipend to fund their final year of clinical training in high-need, high-demand areas.
Early Assurance Programs
High-achieving students have the opportunity to receive early acceptance to a graduate-level or professional program through one our
early assurance programs.
In some cases, students may apply for early assurance as incoming freshmen. In others, they may apply in their sophomore year of college.
Some EAP programs may accelerate the traditional time frame for earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees.
Early College Access | Bona Bridge High School Dual Enrollment Program

Early College Access through the
Bona Bridge Dual Enrollment Program and Giant Step programs, in which high school students can earn college credits while completing their high school requirements.
This is an opportunity for high school students to not only gain knowledge and understanding in critical fields in the arts and sciences, but to get an early start in acquiring the credits required to earn a college degree.
Who can participate in the Bona Bridge High School Dual Enrollment Program?
The Bona Bridge High School Dual Enrollment Program is designed for eligible high school students who are ready to take college level coursework while completing their high school education. Students should work with their high school counselor to determine eligibility and available course options.
What are the benefits of earning college credits in high school?
Taking college courses during high school allows students to experience college level academics, build confidence, and potentially reduce the number of credits needed after high school graduation. It can also strengthen college applications and help students explore potential majors before beginning college full time.
Will my dual enrollment credits transfer to other colleges or universities?
Transferability of college credits depends on the policies of the institution a student ultimately attends. Students planning to attend another college or university should consult that institution regarding its transfer credit policies.

Individualized Major Program
Our
Individualized Major Program offers self-motivated students the opportunity to explore their unique and varied interests by designing an individual program of study instead of pursuing a traditional departmental major.
The plan of study is either comprised of three academic minors, or individualized with courses chosen from across the university.
Throughout your self-designed academic journey, you will have a team of professors lending their support and guidance.
Military Science (Army ROTC)
The university's
Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) program has produced more than 700 lieutenants for America's Army.
ROTC is a college elective you may try out for up to two years with no military service obligation, and we offer one of the best leadership programs in America.
Students in the program also have opportunities to participate in leadership training, physical fitness activities, and summer development experiences alongside cadets from other universities. Scholarships may be available for qualified students, helping make a Â鶹ӳ» education even more affordable while preparing graduates for service as commissioned Army officers.
