Lee & Gilham join discussion of music and social justice

Dr. Richard Lee, associate professor in the Jandoli School of Communication, and Dr. Alex Gilham, assistant professor of philosophy, took part in a panel discussion on music and social justice at the New York State Communication Association conference on Oct. 17.


Dr. Richard Lee, associate professor in the Jandoli School of Communication, and Dr. Alex Gilham, assistant professor of philosophy, took part in a panel discussion on music and social justice at the New York State Communication Association conference on Oct. 17.

Lee chaired the panel, which addressed: β€œIn a Digital and Divided America, Can Music Still be a Force for Social Justice?” Gilham participated by video conferencing technology. 

This panel discussion focused on the results of a six-month project incubated at ΒιΆΉΣ³»­β€™s Jandoli Institute, which Lee chairs. In addition to Lee and Gilham, professors from Pace University and Marist College worked on the project and participated in the panel discussion.
