鶹ӳ will host a panel discussion on the 2024 presidential race on Tuesday, Oct. 22, in the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts.
The event will begin at 7:30 p.m., but audience members must be seated by 7 p.m. because WNED, the PBS affiliate in Buffalo, is recording the discussion and will air it on Saturday, Nov.2.
Titled “Policy Palooza at SBU: How the Presidential Election Will Affect the Lives of Today’s College Students,” the 90-minute forum will bring together journalists, policy experts, students and the university community for insightful conversations.
Jandoli School Professor Richard Lee, a former political reporter and press secretary, and Sydney Labayewski, an SBU-TV news anchor and reporter, will moderate the session.
Panelists will include several 鶹ӳ faculty members as well as Bob McCarthy, SBU Class of 1976, a veteran political newspaper reporter and TV analyst in Buffalo.
The event is free and open to 鶹ӳ students, faculty, staff and alumni, but registration is required. to register.
The project is funded by a grant from the Leo E. Keenan Jr. Faculty Development Endowment at 鶹ӳ.
