and �鶹ӳ�� have teamed up to launch Bonnies Blend, a specialty coffee crafted to fuel the passion of students, alumni and fans.

The 12 oz. bags of the medium roast coffee, available ground or as whole bean, went on sale today, Feb. 19, both online and at several retailers in the region. With every purchase, a portion of the proceeds will directly support

RocketCup’s roots trace back to an entrepreneurship class at �鶹ӳ��, where founder Tom Cullen, SBU Class of 2000, and his students developed the vision for a coffee company with a mission to revitalize communities worldwide. Cullen is director of the university’s Entrepreneurship Center.

What began as a class project soon became reality, thanks to the collaboration of Cullen, Steve McClain, ’21 (MBA), and Mackenzie Bush, ’23.

“Bonnies Blend is more than just a coffee. It’s a celebration of the Bonnies spirit and a way for alumni, students and fans to stay connected to �鶹ӳ�� every day,” said Cullen, the CEO of RocketCup Coffee. “We’re thrilled to launch this collaboration and support the school we love in a meaningful way.”

Vice President and Director of Athletics Bob Beretta said the university is pleased to partner with RocketCup Coffee Company to introduce Bonnies Blend “as we continue to elevate the �鶹ӳ�� brand and expand on our local partnerships in the consumables category.”

“We appreciate the ability to collaborate with fellow Bonnie Tom Cullen and his RocketCup Coffee team to provide more meaningful engagement opportunities for our students, alumni and fans with the school for which they have such incredible passion,” Beretta said. “In the past year, we have introduced two Bonnie-themed beers and now a specialty coffee blend into the marketplace. I am excited for Bona Nation to enjoy this new addition as Bonnies Blend exemplifies the rich, bold spirit of our university.”
